We also wish to assure guests in this time of uncertainty, that we are taking measures over and above those recommended by the Department of Health, to make sure your stay is safe and enjoyable. Some of these measures include deeper cleaning of our facilities and accommodation, including regular sanitization, increased hand washing stations throughout the park, site spacing and Covid declarations prior to check-in. We are also educatiing guests on Covid with signage throughout the park.
We have also provided additonal training for staff, provided additonal protective equipment to keep staff safe and restricted numbers within our reception office.
Understanding all too well the impact of COVID-19 is having on travel arrangements, we are now offering booking date flexibility, for all bookings made up until the 30th June 2020, that may need to be changed or cancelled due to new developments related to COVID 19.
Can I stay at the Park?
It is super important at this time that we protect our park community. You must notify reception prior to booking and prior to arriving at our park if,
– You have travelled, internationally or domestically in the 14 days prior to your arrival at Banksia Tourist Park.
– You are in self isolation.
You will be required to cancel your booking if you have tested positive to Coronavirus or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive or if you are displaying symptoms of the virus.
What can I Do if I am self-isolating?
We understand that some guests will be needing accommodation in which they can self-isolate and understand how important this is in overcoming the current pandemic. If this is you, we maybe able to help.
Please note self-isolating at our park, means there is strictly no use of any communal facilities or outdoor areas within the grounds. Only in room accommodation and designated private outdoor areas would be permitted.
